Celebrate National Dog Day at the Gardens!

Sunday, August 26
for 11:00AM to 2:00PM on the Plaza and Event Lawn

Mendocino Coast Botanical Gardens boasts 47-acres and 4 miles of trails for your pup to explore... On Sunday, August 26, we celebrate National Dog Day with a bit of extra love for our canine visitors. Treat your pup and yourself to a nice long walk amongst the dahlias, roses, and perennials. Here are some of the happenings to look forward to:

  • Fort Bragg Feed & Pet, Inc. will be giving out free samples of their best dog treats and dog foods on the entry plaza.
  • Skelly Dogs Training will be on the Event Lawn giving agility and rally obedience demonstrations with four of her dogs. You and your dog can watch the expert-level pups jump and weave their way around the course.
  • Pawpawrazzi Pet Photography will be capturing the true nature of our four-legged friends among the colorful blooms of the Perennial Garden.
  • The Mendocino Coast Humane Society Mobile Adoption Van will be at the Gardens with a bunch of adorable adoptable animals. Adopt a pet from the Humane Society at the Gardens on National Dog Day and receive a free Household Membership

Be sure to share photos of your furry friends enjoying National Dog Day at Mendocino Coast Botanical Gardens.

Dogs must be on-leash, 6 feet or less. Please clean up after your dog, baggies and trash receptacle are located throughout the Gardens.
