Call for Artists – Art in the Gardens

Mendocino Coast Botanical Gardens invites artists to submit an application to exhibit their original work at the 31st annual Art in the Gardens, a juried art show and summer festival. The two-day event will take place on Saturday, August 3 and Sunday, August 4 from 11:00am to 5:00pm. All artists must commit to setting up and participating in both days of the event. This event is a major fundraiser for the Gardens and attracts as many as 2,500 guests each year. Artist booths will be located on our Event Lawn just a short walk from the Ocean Bluffs. Don’t miss this ideal opportunity to meet new clientele!
There is a non-refundable application fee of $30 (no booth fee). If selected, each artist will be required to turn in a 25% commission to the Gardens at the end of the event (5:00PM; 8/4/24). All artists will be responsible for handling their own sales. PLEASE NOTE: The Event Lawn has limited Wi-Fi/cellular service. Please be prepared to handle sales offline as a backup. The Gardens cannot handle transactions for artists.
To be considered in the jury process, please complete the 2024 Artist Application online by Sunday, March 24, 2024.
