Dogs in the Gardens
Via Magazine just named us one of the BEST PET DESTINATIONS. Treat yourself and your pooch to a stroll amongst our 47 acre garden by the sea.
Mendocino Coast Botanical Gardens welcomes well-behaved canines to visit with their companions. We do ask that your canine be kept on a six-foot non-retractable leash, that you clean up any messes, and that you respect that some people may not love dogs as you do. Some photographs provided courtesy of PawPawrazzi Pet Photography were taken during the Gardens' celebration of National Dog Day 2016. Enjoy!
Doggie bags are available at the entrance, in addition to treats.
Share the best photos from your visit to Mendocino Coast Botanical Gardens. Send us your favorite pictures of beautiful botanicals, ocean views, friends, family, pups, or other "Kodak moments" and you may find your works featured on the MCBG website or Facebook page.
Submit high-resolution images, a brief description to marketing@gardenbythesea.org, be sure to let us know who to credit!
Dogs welcome! Well-mannered dogs on leashes no longer than 6 feet are welcome and enjoy free admission to the Gardens. Please note: Dogs are not permitted at some of our special events including but not limited to Art in the Gardens (1st Saturday in August) and Festival of Lights (mid-November to mid-December). Please plan to keep your pets at home or arrange for doggy daycare during these special events.
