Mendocino Coast Botanical Gardens celebrated National Public Gardens Day on Friday May 7, 2010.  With free admission and a beautiful day, the Gardens welcomed all.

In the afternoon, the Gardens honored two very special people and one extraordinary organization who have given so support.  “We were so pleased to honor and thank Betty Paddock, Mae Lauer, and the Friends of the Gardens.  There many contributions and tens of thousands of volunteer hours are both valued and treasured by our organization.  The Gardens would not be the jewel that they are today without them,” said Ry Southard, MCBG’s Executive Director.
