In the spring a gardener’s fancy turns to thoughts of “When do I plant my vegetables?”,” What shrubs will grow in my yard?”, and “Who is eating my flowers!” If you are looking for gardening answers, the Master Gardeners are ready to lend a hand.

Saturday, April 24 and Sunday, April 25, 2010, from 10:00am to 2:00pm, the Mendocino Coast Master Gardeners will celebrate Earth Day weekend with an open house at their walk-in help desk in the Library at the Mendocino Coast Botanical Gardens. Stop on in and bring your garden questions!

Visitors to the help desk will discover not only helpful Master Gardeners, but also a wide range of garden related books, journals, and internet sources to aid them in finding the answers to the toughest queries. Following the open house, the Master Gardener help desk will be staffed Friday thru Monday, from noon to 2:00pm, April 30 to October.
